HOT TOPIC: Do you do Massages at Monarch?

First of all, great question! We have 3 Massage Therapists on staff (Elizabeth, Lisa, and Brenda), who are all trained in myofascial release therapy (MFR).  You can see any of them for MFR therapy, or what we refer to as wellness.

It seems like the word Massage is a big hang up for some people, because they associate that with what they have had in the past—a lotion massage for relaxation, or deep tissue. Words like “Swedish” or “hot stone” have become familiar vocabulary. No one has ever heard much about “myofascial release”.

We all believe that a good lotion massage feels great, but we do not offer those at Monarch. All the therapists have been taking advanced courses for years in myofascial release we work on cellular change to help decrease pain and improve range of motion and postural alignment

There is nothing wrong with complementary sessions of other services—we have a lot of clients who get a regular massage, a chiropractic adjustment, or other services outside our office in addition to Myofascial release therapy with us.

The point is that they all work together, for your good.  Complementary services we offer include the Biomat and/or Raindrop Therapy with essential oils.
