Brenda graduated in 1997 holding a Master of Physical Therapy degree from The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
She began her journey with John F Barnes' Myofascial Release in 2002, became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2007, and opened Monarch Physical Therapy in 2011.
Amber has been a Licensed Physical Therapist for 20 years. She attended Texas Tech Health Sciences Center where she received her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 1997. Amber’s experience as a physical therapist extends from outpatient rehab to home health.
In the Spring of 2014, she sustained injuries while on the job that led her to divinely receive physical therapy at a clinic that specializes in John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release techniques and treatments.
In November 2014, she decided to begin her training as a MFR Therapist. Extensive training was received through the John F. Barnes’ MFR Approach and through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Amber specializes in the John F. Barnes method of Myofascial Release Therapy and Pelvic Floor Therapy.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Elizabeth is a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in the John F. Barnes method of Myofascial Release Therapy. She has been practicing MFR since January, 1995. She has since received hundreds of hours of training in the John F. Barnes series of MFR courses earning the status of Expert Practitioner. In addition, she was also trained in Dr. Peter Levine's three-year program for Somatic Experiencing, which is a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders.
Lisa Kveton-Bohnert has 20 years experience as a licensed massage therapist. She holds a PhD in psychology and is a certified professional coach who specializes in elite solo athletes to help them build resilience, peak-performance, and apply mindful learning and growth-mindset principles to mitigate performance anxiety and maladaptive perfectionism. She has taught qigong for over a decade and was a professional ballet dancer, ballet teacher, and choreographer for over 35 years. She teaches mindful movement that incorporates qigong, tai chi, and free-form motion to relieve traumatic memory from the body/mind and enhance wellbeing.
Lisa is a 25-year Hill Country resident who loves pets, nature, art, music, and movement. She is currently a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Comfort, is a member of Division 32 of the American Psychological Association, and a member, presenter, and author for the International Association for Dance, Medicine, and Science. Following a catastrophic auto accident several years ago, the John F. Barnes method of myofascial release became her healing and new passion; her training with Barnes began in Sedona and is ongoing.
Crystal has been with Monarch since 2013 and does our billing. She is excellent at keeping up with what the insurance payments are, so that your payments at the date of service are accurate and timely.
