We have a new front desk employee at the Boerne office. His name is Daniel and today is his first day of work here. Part of the fun of new employee orientation, is spending 30 minutes working on him, so he knows what our clients get in treatment. Here is a fuzzy picture.
So how is this different? I’ve had physical therapy before….
What a great opening line, let me give you a few ways this treatment is different from anything you have had before.
#1. We listen. You have an entire hour with us, each and every visit. We know you enough to know your name and what is going on in your world.
#2. We have this annoying knack for getting to the root of the cause. “I had no idea that spot even hurt” is something we hear daily. Some discomfort on the table, is followed by standing up and a new awareness of feeling taller, less compressed, and the list goes on.
#3. It’s so nice spending the entire hour with you, I have had therapy before, but she was seeing 3 people at the same time.
We did this very intentionally. Sometimes that 3 people at a time thing is great, but sometimes, we need a little more attention and 1:1 care to get us back to the point of exercising without pain.
#4. We have a whole body approach. We are aware you have shoulder pain, but your pelvic alignment, and your postural habits affect all of you, so we are going to look at how you stand and your overall posture, so that everything is in alignment.
#5. How great is it to age, and yet continue to get better? We love that stretching daily helps prevent more injuries. When daily stretching is combined with increased body awareness, it’s a winning formula.
Here is a short video of one of our recent clients and her experience.
If any of these things sound interesting to you, or you have questions about us, please give us a call. 830.431.0773.
We are here, and we are from here, so we understand the challenges of daily hill country life.
We offer a free, 20 min, ease your worry session, where you can call or come in and talk to one of the therapists for 20 min. We are here to listen to you, and you can see if we are a good fit for what you need.
Blessings,
Brenda
